Well lemme be a nerd here, currently I am having win7 if I download n install this torrent, I will have win 8 pro retail (i.e. final version) untouched of course, with unlocked personalization and media centre and for which I dont need any loader or crack, just the free wmc key and by using it my os will be activated n run forever, yeah?

dear, all manufacturers have released their products driver for windows 8. just go this official site and download respective drivers for win8.
win7 drivers will work with backward compatibility but with some error so I will not recommend it.

if your MotehrBoard is one yer old than I do not think you will need any drivers as win8 will recognize your most of the hardware and will automatically install all drivers for that motherboard.
anyways, please mention here your motherboard type and model with brand name then i can guide you in detail.

Just as info, but you can install two instances of windows 8 on your pc, and use another install key from Microsoft for each one. Then you got two licenced versions on one machine. Works good as extra backup or if you just want to have a quick boot, with no extra programs running.

dear, you do not need to search for drivers as windows 8 install will load all requisite drivers for this MOBO. later you can update drivers under device manager. but I am sure that updating your windows will install all drivers if not detected during install of win8.

I can post what has been modified but wait for it till 1st Feb 2013. 1st Feb 2013 is the last date of activation with free wmc key.

I have made an account just to write this comment. Thanks alot uploader. This version of windows is working like a charm. All apps work perfectly, windows is activated for life , windows media centre included, system can recieve updates, seems to be geniune.

please boot from DVD. there is special key like F10, F9 or other depend on your Motherboard.
better go to Bios setup (Press F2 repeatedly when system starts) and there change the boot order of your DVD to 1st and then save this setting and restart your system. it will now boot from DVD and then you can have clean as well as upgrade install.

what is the name of your system image backup? it should be "WindowsImageBackup" and it should show Empty folder though if you open it and open it and open it to the last subfolder then it will show the real size.

@creative im not runin setup file from desktop, but from usb stick and boot from this usb stick, for some reason the screen stays black when I try to boot what do I do please help my camp is 32 bit

So, I did everything I was supposed to, and it booted but at the moment of selecting "upgrade" it gives me a '' compatibility report' and says to start windows normally AND then start the upgrade. I do think that it would let me do a clean install from the bootable usb but why does it send me tht report thing?

Im only after getting around to using this, its clean, good upload, however an issue created by by own doing has resulted in my laptop going into an endless cycle, my main issue was burning this to dvd, it failed at the very end of burning which did not affect the data but what program is everyone using to burn this, i have many differnet options i want to know what the best is
here is a solution to the issue i was having just in case anyone else had a error, where installation failed and was in a cycle of starting and restarting.

I made a USB stick bootable for win8 with the DISKPART commands and copied the “Win8_Pro_WMC_x64_En.iso” on it as suggested by you. I have received my WMC key from Microsoft. I am actually using Windows 7 on a Aspire 5552 laptop.
As far as I understood, now I just have to edit my BIOS settings in order to boot the system from the USB port first, then follow the instructions to install Windows 8 AND the WMC, which will replace/delete my messy Windows 7, right?
I have made a partition with “DiskDirector” and a Image with “True Image” (both from Acronis). I made a second Image after copying all my personal files to my new partition.
Questions before I proceed:
1) Will it affect my partition if I format my C drive?
This is because I want to delete Windows 7 and all my programs that have created too many errors in my registry.
2) Is it more advisable to install “Win8_Pro_WMC_x64_En.iso” first to check if it works as planned, then to execute #1, and then reinstall “Win8_Pro_WMC_x64_En.iso” ?

I would recommend backing up all your files and doing a clean install, I must say I really like windows 8 and im so glad I installed, but I do think format and install is the best way to go, maybe im wrong but it worked for me after a few attempts of guessing the steps. If you are a fan of smart phone layout you will love this :)

what if i didnt use the wmc key after install can i activate it ?
@creative3 i just installed it and it worked great it also got activated my problem is that its shows error when ever i try to install any thing like my graphic drivers or ms office etc... and have to restart after restart it works but this is happening alot..... and i couldn't find the per installed games. please help.............

first without wmc key you can't activate your windows genuinely.
second, now a days MS is taking 3-7 days to send keys , so please be patient. you will sure get your free wmc key.

It worked very nicely and key was accepted and activated perfectly too upon first time installation. But due to some problem I had to format my pc and then tried to reinstall the '8', but unfortunately now MS is not accepting the same key upon activation.
What should I do here? Please advice.

Not sure, but I think MS has become aware of this loophole and is now blocking the activation after installation.....
so sad....

-Before I installed Windows 8, I formatted my HDD and then my Laptop Restarted itself.
-Then I Inserted CD containing Windows 8 installation
-The next Thing I see is "BOOTMGR is missing
Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart"
